My Tecnological History Timeline

• The only computer technology used in school up to 3rd grade was to play games such as Oregon Trail in the computer lab or to play in the Paint application.

• Learned how to type in fifth grade.

• Higher grades in middle school required some typed essays and printing pictures off the internet for research projects.

• Myspace, AOL messenger, and illegally downloading music were some of my favorite past times.

• Got my first cell phone. Used it to call and text mostly.

• Higher grade levels demanded more internet use for research. Transition from just typing to gathering information.

• Used software at work as a front desk receptionist to schedule patients and chart medical history. Using a computer for work was very helpful!

• Am very much attached to my MacBook Air and use it for everything from online banking, checking emails, to registering for classes.

• Social media, online tv streaming services, and smart phone apps have taken over my life!
